Our house is only 10 minutes away from the popular and enchanting Weissensee. Due to its central position in Upper Carinthia, Hotel Rossmann is the perfect starting point for a number of leisure activities.

From Germany:
via the motorway A10 (Tauernautobahn) – take the next exit after Gmünd: exit Mallnitz – head towards Lienz – until you reach Greifenburg
From Felbertauern:
Head towards Lienz – continue on the road B100 until you reach Greifenburg
From the motorway A1 (Südautobahn):
Head towards Klagenfurt – at main-interchange (‘Hauptknotenpunkt’)Villach, head towards Spittal an der Drau – take the first exit after Spittal Ost: exit Drautal – continue until you reach Greifenburg
Convenient journey by train
- Trainstation Greifenburg/Weißensee
- Travel with the ÖBB Railjet from Vienna directly and without changing trains in just 5 hours
- Free pick-up from the railway station: Please let us know your arrival time in advance!

Free train travel in Carinthia & East Tyrol with the guest card
Since April 2024, our guests can use the regional trains throughout Carinthia to Lienz in East Tyrol free of charge during their holiday!
Trains run every hour in both directions. Passengers are free. There is a small surcharge for travelling with bicycles and dogs.
Use the free train in combination with your cycle tour along the Drau cycle path or for a trip to the beautiful old town of Lienz!

Cancellation conditions/withdrawal from the accommodation contract
Cancellations at the Hotel Rossmann are only valid in written form.
From 2 weeks before the start of the holiday or no-show or early departure we charge 80 % of the booked pension price.
6 to 2 weeks before the start of your holiday, we will charge 50% of the booked stay.
There are no cancellation fees up to 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Obstacles on arrival
If the guest is unable to arrive at the accommodating establishment on the day of arrival due to unforeseeable extraordinary circumstances (e.g. extreme snowfall, flooding, etc.), the guest shall not be obliged to pay the agreed remuneration for the days of arrival.
If you book directly with Hotel Rossmann, cancellation is possible free of charge up to the last day. If you are unable to arrive, please contact us immediately. We are sure to find a solution.
